WHAT IS ART THERAPY?
The term art therapy or also known as creative art refers to a combination of learning about the relevance of colour, shapes, symbols and numbers. Art is taking these modalities to enhance development and growth, which can help with communication, lowering stress, improving self-awareness and self-esteem. Art Therapy helps to release and express feelings that you may not know how to let go of otherwise.
BENEFITS OF ART THERAPY!
Art Therapy allows you to express your creativity and is about exploring what makes you happy. Art awakens your imagination and creativity to help you to discover how to engage your senses. Meditation and writing your feelings down in a journal will give you a safe outlet for negative emotions. Expressing this through drawing and painting is an enjoyable activity for healing and growth.
